SPIEL in Essen, Germany, is one of the world’s largest game fairs — last year boasting nearly 1,000 exhibitors and over 200,000 visitors! And yes, Two Starving Gnolls will be there!

We’ll be stationed in a large booth, proudly showcasing The Exorcist’s Codex along with some of our earlier releases. Come by for a nerdy chat about our games, tabletop roleplaying in general, or just to say hi — we’d love to meet you!

But we won’t be alone. We’re traveling alongside several other awesome Norwegian game developers. Norway may be small, but it’s a mighty nerdy country — and home to one of the best gaming shops in the world (we’re looking at you, Outland!!).

Speaking of Norwegian games: A few years back, we had the pleasure of playing Kvad, a TTRPG steeped in the haunting beauty of Norse sagas, created by Karl Otto Kristoffersen. We had a blast and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Now we’re thrilled to see Kvad coming to the international stage — launching in English on BackerKit in just ten days! Be sure to check it out… Who knows? Maybe you will one day be honored with a Norse poem sung in your name..!
